From a chemical plant warehouse to a remote closing role in 30 days
Aaron Sparkes was on £1,650 a month working 8 till half 4 in a chemical plant warehouse. Thirty days after starting the training he was closing high-ticket deals remotely — and moved country, moved in with his partner, and bought a house.
Landed a remote closing role with a mergers & acquisitions company roughly 30 days after starting training.
Where Aaron started
Aaron was working a minimum-wage role in a chemical plant warehouse. Eight till half four. Two tea breaks. Mind-numbing.
Take-home was about £1,650 a month.
He'd already made a video at work joking about what he'd do if he ever left. In his words, that video was "a clear indication that I was done with this place."
The decision
That Christmas he had a bonus sitting in his account.
"I can either blow this over Christmas, or I can put it into investing in myself so that I can get out of the job."
He'd found us online, booked a call, had a conversation, and enrolled.
What he actually did
He kept the warehouse job while he trained.
- Professional minimum at work — do the job, don't burn out
- Home, food, then three to four hours of training a night
- Five sessions a week, not always Monday to Friday
- Notepad out, pause the video every five minutes, write everything down
- Every live training call, asking (in his words) "a million questions"
He didn't try to reinvent anything. He ran the process exactly as taught and took the feedback on the chin.
"It sounds like copy and paste — but if it works for someone, why would you reinvent the wheel?"
The transition
The training block was four weeks. Aaron did the full four weeks, then applied.
(These days we push people to start applying around week two — the faster you're in interviews, the faster you're in a seat.)
We sat down, agreed he was ready, and placed him with a mergers & acquisitions company running a £5k–£10k price point on inbound leads.
The first month
His first month was an outlier month, and we want to be straight about that.
Commission was £500–£1,000 per sale. A strong company having a strong month, good inbound leads, and Aaron debriefing calls with us afterwards to fix what could be fixed.
He finished around $9,000 USD in month one.
That is not the normal first month, and we don't sell it as one. Aaron says it himself in the interview: everything went right, and he did everything right.
Where he is now
Two years on: moved country, moved in with his partner, bought a house, built out a home office.
"I just get to speak to people on my laptop all day. It's completely changed my life."
